Better quality!

We shopped last week on Elephant Road, one of Dhaka's famous commercial venues. The selection at the shoe store was not that great – really cheap looking, no frills shoes. The only thing right was the price!

Cristina asked the owner if he had anything better. You could see his eyes lighting up. He had a big fish on the line. He took us to another corner and pulled out a number of other pairs. Everything was at least double the price. 

"Why is this so much more expensive?"

The shopkeeper took a deep breath and said proudly:
“This is better quality. Made in China!!!”
Nothing comes free in this life, and quality is no exception.
